I was the one that asked the question, today I called Klipsch and was told it is designed that way but you can disable the function that turns it off to wear it stays on all the time, which he said won't hurt it it's meant to be on all the time. You un plug and it plug it back in and hold both the button with the square and arrow and the volume up button at the same time for 5 seconds, analog should flash then hit volume up twice, the 1st time will show digital, 2nd time will show hdmi 2 and then after a second you can put everything where you want it and it'll stay on all the time unless you turn it off and if you turn it off it'll reset but it won't turn off if you turn your tv off and everything will stay set.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same issues. Returned it and got the LG SH7B. I wish I had known the way to turn off the auto power feature as I would have kept it because the sound was amazing. They should have spelled it out in the manual.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I gave the Klipsch sound system as a Christmas gift to my son. I just called him and here are his observations: It sounds Great! When I turn the TV off, and back on, the Sound Bar and Sub do not automatically engage. The system either must be "turned on" or the TV is turned off and back on to use the surround system. My son said he did not have to "reset" the settings each time the unit was turned off. I did not read the instructions BUT I would think that the surround system would be engaged in an "as needed basis". I would not want to watch the news report in surround mode. I hope this helps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yeah, I did this, nothing worked. In fact, it reset the bar altogether and now I can't reconnect it to the tv audio. Not getting any responses from anything. Thanks for nothing!
