I use 16 gauge speaker wire on mine. They are less than 10 ft apart - this gauge is good up to about 50 ft. If you're going 50-100 ft., they say 14 gauge would be better.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I personally use 14 gauge shielded speaker cables with banana plugs. 16 gauge will work, too. Use this an example from my old days of car competition audio. Think of as a hose for water, narrower gauge less flow. Yet, then other extreme is to large as in 8 or 10 gauge (which usually only for subs and main power). Too big the signal can get sloppy, Needs some resistance. Hope this helps. Use good quality- doesn’t have to be the most expensive. Mid price. Not cheap wire, as quality counts.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends on how far you have to run the speaker wire. I bought a 250' spool of 16/2 speaker wire and I use it for all of my speakers.
