I'm getting an error message Error: Card Error. Why? null

The card is failing or has failed. There is something wrong with camera itself. Test the card out in another camera to see if you have the same problem or use another known good memory card to test the camera to see if it's the problem. I had an issue where I was getting a memory error and turned out to be the camera. Memory cards unfortunately fail because of wear and tear, defect, or abuse. Yes I have had cards fail not many but it does happen.
