• Wi-Fi access is required to set up the lock using the Kwikset app and to program the access codes. After the setup, codes will remain programmed in the lock even if the Wi-Fi is no longer available, yet the Kwikset app will not connect to the lock without an internet connection. The physical key can be used if no internet available.
