• I wouldn’t try the extension cord. That’s not safe with any heater.

• Use a good extension cord. 3 prong not 2. The 3rd prong is for grounding.

• Generally using extension cords on high current devices is not a good idea. If you really need to I suggest a minimum of 10 gauge wire extension cord.
