QuestionHow do you keep this heater at the temperature you want it at?

- Answer Thank you for your interest in this heater. To set a temperature, simply press the (+) or (-) button until it shows on the display. Once you set the desired room temperature, the number will flash to let you know the temperature has been set. At this point, the unit will automatically go back to the current room temperature and you should notice a letter A on the display. This is the indication that the heater is now in Automatic Temperature Control Mode.

- Answer READ THE DESCRIPTION. IT'S PRETTY ACCURATE. I THOUGHT I WOULD HAVE TO RETURN THIS HEATER UNTIL IT BLASTED HOT AIR AND WARMED MY BATHROOM AND HALLWAY TO THE BATHROOM FROM AN OPEN BEDROOM DOOR. RATHER, I PLACED IT IN AN OPEN DOORWAY FROM HALLWAY TO BATHROOM. I USE THE SHOWER REGULARLY, AND IT HEATS IT FROM THE HALLWAY. GOOD LUCK BUYING THIS HEATER. IT'S BETTER THAN YOU THINK.

- Answer I just purposely tilted it over lol just to check and no it didn’t shut off. My daughter threw the box and instruction away, the heater doesn’t have a settings button.

QuestionI have have had model 5397 for a few years and very happy with it . I have several cats that love to lay in front of it . I do t have to worry about them getting burnt or knocking it over . I have never had to fill or even worry about it leaking .

QuestionWhere is the thermometer for measuring room temp so it knows when to turn on & off on auto setting? Mine runs almost continuously when set to 68*. Thermometer in same room reads 80* +. Does it read room temp at floor level?
