“I have one of these heating towers and can access all the temperature ranges (60° to max) on the high setting, but on the low setting the only temperature setting it allows is max. Is that normal or is my tower defective?”

The automatic temperature function will only operate on High heat mode. You cannot set the temperature automatically when the unit is in the Low heat mode. To set the room at a specific temperature, press the Temperature Button to the desire setting. The light under the chosen temperature will continue to blink until the room reaches the desire temperature. The Heater will cycle off and on to maintain the room temperature. When set a MAX, the Heater will run continuously. Electronic Heater the lowest Thermostat is 60 to 85 highest degrees.
