Yeah, you would need the retrofit kit from Tesla. This kit can be purchased in your app and runs $450. It comes with a CCS adapter though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If your Tesla is older, you need to contact your service center for a CCS upgrade. That’s the reason it failed to charge at ChargePoint.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It is October 2023. As of now, this adapter will ONLY WORK on Model S and Model Y (after paying $450) and NOT Model 3. Best Buy really needs to specify this in order to avoid returns as it is quite frustrating to buy this adapter and find it does not work. Even when they make this feature available for the Model 3, it will cost $450 for older models.
