- Answer This computer is really good for watching videos, browsing Internet, working on school projects, etc. However, it is not an ideal computer for gaming. It has been great for our needs but I would look at other gaming specific computers.

- Answer No you can not! All the components are soldered on the Motherboard. It is not upgradable.

QuestionI just want a computer for school work. I would only be writing essays and doing online homeworks. Would this computer be good for that? And also, how long did this last for you guys? I don't want to have to buy another laptop in 1 year or so.

- Answer If you just need it to do online homework and write essays, then I would say this is a good fit, as long as you have a flash drive to save your essays to. The memory is very small so you will definitely need the flash drive. The internet works fine in my opinion to do online assignments. I've had mine for 7 months, however I don't use it every day, but so far it seems to still be working properly. I was able to complete online homework assignments as well.

- Answer No, there is no CD/DVD drive on this device. You can use an external CD/DVD drive with this device by just plugging the external drive into a USB port on the computer.

- Answer Should be ok. After installing office and all updates you will be down to about 7.5GB in space, which is enough to install Quicken/TurboTax. Those applications aren't so demanding.

- Answer Of course. There are two USB ports if you want to connect the computer to a printer. Or you can connect to a network printer. Or save your thesis to a USB drive. Typing your thesis can be achieved by either using the Windows standard Wordpad, or you can install Microsoft Office or the free Libre Office.
