• The A8 is equivalent to a 4th gen i3. The A8 gets a score of 6.3 on CPU Boss, while the i3 gets a 6.4. You won't really notice the difference unless you use benchmarking programs. The A8 is quad core, while the i3 is dual core. The i3 supports hyper-threading, the A8 does not.

• This AMD A8-6410 is equivalent to a Intel i3-4010U. The AMD is a Quad Core Processor where the i3 is a Dual Core.

• Nothing. AMD is in a class by themselves. I have 2 Intel rigs and all the rest have been AMD. Much better value than Intel.
