There are two options for using Word or other MS Office products on this or other Chromebooks: 1. Use Office 365, which will require an active Wi-Fi connection (and, of course, a subscription to Office 365) 2. Use the Word app for Android In both cases, you will be using what amounts to a "starter" version of Word that does not include the full feature set of the standard Word software that you would install on a PC or Mac. However, for most people's needs, it is adequate. This comparison of Word features on different platforms might be helpful: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Compare-Word-features-on-different-platforms-5e00dfba-3d7c-4222-b850-a0527ff7b066.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can purchase Microsoft Office 365 for Chrome, within the Google Play Store and install it on this device.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Remember, a Chromebook is essentially an Android phone laptop. So if you own an Android phone, you will be using the same 'workarounds' to utilize Microsoft products on your phone. So if you find that agreeable, than you'll understand. I have an Acer R11 and use Google Docs primarily. However, within Google Docs and other Google Office products, there are ways to 'convert' my work to Microsoft friendly. Therefore, when I'm creating documents or spreadsheets and am sharing with co-workers that have conventional laptops, I utilize the 'save as .doc' feature. I've rarely had any problems and, in fact, converted a couple co-workers to getting Chromebooks. Hope this helps! Cheers
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.According to the Chrome specialist at Best buy, I disagree. Yes it can, there are two ways to it according to the Chrome specialist at best buy in Tampa. One is getting the Office App, and you can do Word and PowerPOint among other things.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use MS OneDrive for word docs and spreadsheets. It's free unless you need more cloud storage. Just like Google Drive. For the casual user, it is essentially a basic version of Word. If you need it for serious production, buy the Office 365 subscription....or adapt to Google sheets.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes if you by a subscription!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. From the Google play store you can but not online.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. You can install Word with Android Apps or use Office 365 and use the online version of Word. This works better. The Android version is really buggy on that Chromebook, but the online version is better. Sometimes however, the online version doesn't always format correctly. But for basic Word needs it is fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.YES, this can just do pretty much as any laptop. Just not the heavy gaming support.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it can’t as this is a chrome book using google software. You can look at word documents but you’d be using google docks.
