Yes it will work with a Gateway monitor. You can use a 15-pin (DB15) Standard D-sub cable (also known as a VGA cable) or HDMI cable with this PC. It does not have a DVI out. I currently have a Gateway monitor connected to my Lenovo via a VGA cable and it works fine. You will most likely have to use an old school VGA cable. If you get a new monitor with an HDMI input you will be able to use that for HD digital viewing.

That will depend on whether the monitor is compatible with Windows 10 and has either VGA or HDMI connection capability. We recommend you check on the monitor's manufacturer's web site for compatibility with Windows 10.
