My original question was "Why when I unplug the power cord, the screen dims slightly. I have set screen brightness on battery to 100%" I took the laptop back to Best Buy today to have the Geek Squad look at it. They checked all the settings and found nothing wrong. I was informed by them that it must be a setting built into it by Lenovo and it cannot be changed. We looked at there display, which is the exact same model, and found that it also dims when the power cord is removed. Does this happen on anyone else Laptop?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Disable the battery saver your battery will die quicker but your screen will not dim at all
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later."The sliders adjust the screen brightness" doesn't work because there are no sliders there in the first place. You cannot make the display stay 100% bright when on battery power. Very stupid of Lenovo.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It sounds like you have the screen brightness set differently when on battery. You can check this in the system Control Panel under power settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "Control Panel" in the search window, then select Control Panel from the list. In the Control Panel window that opens, type "Power" in the search window at the top right of the Control Panel Window. Select "Edit Power Plan" from the list. In the window that opens you will see your power settings for both plugged in and on battery. The sliders adjust the screen brightness. Be sure the screen brightness slider for on battery is set where you want it. When you have made your adjustments, click "Save" at the bottom right of the window.
