Q: QuestionI received this model today. During unpacking and set up there is a undocumented part, plastic, orange, about 2" long. Possibly attaches to the base/monitor arm? Does anyone know what it is?

• A:Answer By far the quietest desktop i have ever owned. To hear it it has to be absolutely silent including the central air/heat not running to hear it. Q: QuestionI have an antique roll-top desk that can house a monitor with a base of about 7 inches wide on the top outer edge. What is the measurement of the bottom base of this unit? How good is the monitors range-of-motion/tilt compatibilities?

Q: QuestionCan you hook up an external graphics card?

• A:Answer Yes you can by using an eGPU adapter ..you must remove the Wifi card and connect the Video card via the port the Wif card was using.. Youtube shows you can do this to any modern computer using that wifi card slot..you need to use the adapter ribbon cable to the video card adapter you will also need an external powet supply but this method serves the same purpose as a thunderbolt port you will you will need to provide internet via an ethernet cable to your computer since you removed the wifi card for the eGPu adapter.

• A:Answer Yes. The RAM within the Lenovo IdeaCentre A540-24 All-In-One system is user upgradable. There are two RAM memory slots within this configuration. there are currently 2 4GB DDR4-2666MHz RAM installed. You can remove the two 4GB sticks and replace them with up to two 16GB DDR4-2666MHz RAM sticks, for a system total of 32GB RAM.
