It is running Windows 11S, which is basically the same as Windows 11, but you can only download apps from the Windows store. You can not download apps from Google, nor can you set Google/Chrome as your default browser. The default browser will always be Microsoft's Edge browser. You can access Google through Edge, but you won't be able to make Google your homepage. Windows 11S is supposed to be safer if you are not running any anti-virus software. However remember that you do have the option of switching to Windows 11 with a few keystrokes if you choose so even though this laptop is running Windows 11S, it's very simple to switch to 11. I hope I explained this well enough for you to understand what you will be getting without any surprises.
