It comes in s mode, but it is easy to change back to just Windows 11.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Windows 11 in S Mode. The only difference is that S Mode restricts downloads to apps in the MS Store (thus the "S"). Microsoft came up with this to directly compete with Chromebooks, since programs in the Store are tested to be safe (i.e., no malware or spyware). Exiting is easy: just search the Store for "S Mode." One note: when people complain that they can't leave S Mode, or that the Store doesn't work, it's usually because they haven't updated their computer's version of the Store, so do this BEFORE you make the attempt.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.just bought mine yesterday and found out it is in S mode. not quite sure if I should remove it or not.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think it comes in S mode straight from the manufacturer, but mine was “open box” and it didn’t.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That's analogous to asking, "Is the side of a die a square, or just a rectangle?" The latter is a subset of the former. Also, if you to to "Show Full Specs-->Operating System," it states right there "Windows 11 in S Mode." New invention called "reading." Apparently not catching in your neck of the woods.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is not easy to get out of S mode --even Microsoft can't help
