You can uninstall McAfee and use any 3rd party virus protection you choose, just uninstall McAfee first.   • QuestionWhy does this have a markdown from 450 to 300? There are reviews that say they have purchased it not recently and have stated they bought it at the 300 price.

    • Answer I bought it for $300.00 and returned it today. It does not have a touch screen which I think is part of the cost savings. However my reason for returning it was because it only runs in Windows 10 S Mode. This means you can only install software approved by Microsoft from the Microsoft store. I spent six hours trying to switch out of S Mode. The gal at Best Buy was not able to switch it out of S Mode. Beware of buying a computer with Windows 10 S Mode. Check the label on the box.
