- Answer The Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17 laptop, model number 81WF004CUS, is not user upgradable. A certified technician must do all of the work, so as to not void the warranty. This configuration ships with 4GB RAM soldered to the motherboard and another 4GB RAM in the one available RAM memory slot. Your certified technician can replace this 4GB RAM slick with an 8GB DDR4-2666MHz RAM stick to increase the total system RAM to the maximum supported RAM of 12GB DDR4-2666MHz. We recommend you contact your certified technician for more information about your RAM upgrade options.

- Answer You may see something like that quoted somewhere, for this or any othe laptop, but in real world situations, unless it has a RISC processor (which is usually not as powerful as an Intel or AMD), you won't get anything like that. If you have a car, you can charge it with that, if other sources are not available, or buy a portable power source if you need constant use.
