Your system automatically uses a small bit of any amount of ram you put in it. My fix was to get another 8 GB ram stick and put it along side the included 8 GB. It's actually really easy to do on this computer just make sure you get a m.2 ddr4 3200 stick and google the install steps. After that you will have no problem whatsoever running anything you want to play. Enjoy I have!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.2GB of memory is being reserved for the built in AMD GPU. This is normal. It is in your best interest to upgrade to 16GB (8GBx2) or 32GB (16GBx2) of memory. This will give you more overhead and also get you in dual channel mode. Single channel ram mode is horrible for performance on AMD CPUs. Such an upgrade will increase performance on this unit by 10-20% and will make gaming much smoother. If you desire, you can go into the BIOS and set the internal AMD GPU to a lower value. Such as 1GB. That will free up more memory, but the RAM/Memory upgrade is still strongly suggested.
