Can the Nvidia Optimus be turned off? null

This laptop has optimus, but it can't be turned off. I have the same laptop and the lenovo vantage dashboard does not have the option to turn off optimus. If you want to bypass optimus you also can't because the HDMI port does not connect to the GPU.
