    • Answer The quick answer is YES, the touchpad can be disabled. To disable the touchpad, right click START (Windows Icon on the taskbar), click SETTINGS, then type in TOUCHPAD on the search bar. From there it shows a switch to disable or enable the touchpad. Hope this helps.
