The VP228 does not have a headphone jack.Instead it has internal speakers which don't sound good. I have a Amazon stick plugged into the VP228 and a bkuetooth speaker.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have the monitor connected with HDMI, the headphone jack outputs whatever the HDMI is feeding into the monitor. If the monitor is connected with DisplayPort, you can change your PC audio output to the monitor, and it will feed you whatever is playing on that monitor.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Plug in a 3.5mm audio cable into the monitor and into your audio. It should automatically play, but if not, go to your audio settings and make sure audio is being played through the monitor: 1. Go to Windows Start button 2. Click Settings 3. Search "manage audio settings" 4. Select "Playback" 5. Select "L24q-20" as the device playback, click OK.

For sound, I have mine connected to a Sony mini-stereo setup - works beautifully. You could also connect it to a 5 speaker or 7 speaker surround setup via this jack.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just plug your headphone into the port. If the content you are watching has audio, be sure the volume on the computer is turned up/turned on.
