2 slots, 2 replaceable sticks. The official answer as shown is 32gb support but i and many others simply bought 2 32gb sticks to make it 64gb ram total and works great. Remember the factory ram on the 16gb models is the slower x16 ram vs x8 so when you upgrade always do BOTH sticks to ensure you increase your performance and make a noticeable difference.
