I am the OP of this question. I bought this laptop with the expectation of an ethernet port (which was specified on Lenovo's advertising at the time). The best that Lenovo could do in response was to tell me to pay to acquire an adapter, rather than honor their misleading information, as per their reply: "The Legion 7i does not have an ethernet port. This inaccuracy has been corrected for both configuration product pages and we apologize for the confusion and any inconvenience. Should you want to keep your Legion, but desire a wired internet connection, you could use a USB-A or USB-C to ethernet adapter to do so." I consider misleading advertising to be more than an "inconvenience"; it also comes with a cost to the buyer. One of the reasons I bought the laptop is that a wired connection suits me better. I am still waiting for that to supplied to me with no charge.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The fact Lenovo wouldn’t send the needed cord in response seems really unprofessional. Thank you for this post because I can still see it advertised with the ‘supposed’ ethernet port, and almost made the mistake of purchasing. If Lenovo doesn’t care enough to fix the issue, I’m definitely not purchasing a laptop from them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I got tricked too. I was looking for mine as well and right where it is supposed to be is a USB-A port. Then they try to sell you a dongle adapter after they admit it was false advertisement. Not looking forward to customer support after seeing how they supported you.

Perhaps you could send me such an helpful adapter in place of the ethernet port that is not there :-) Hi, MrsB. We are sorry to hear that your experience has been below expectations.
