Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello, KCD70. Thank you for your question. By referencing the recommended system requirements to run Photoshop and Lightroom via Adobe Creative Cloud, then comparing them to the specs of this Legion, you should be able to run the programs. As far as gaming, this model was designed to handle immersive play with AAA titles, however depending on user settings, performance may vary. We recommend reviewing the system requirements of each game to help ensure compatibility. Here are the links to Adobe support webpages for both Photoshop and Lightroom to review the system requirements for yourself. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, this is an excellent laptop for PS use. It has an extremely color-accurate display, which is essential for Photoshop. As far as games go, it will run everything they want and more for years to come.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Photoshop and Lightroom can be run on almost any new PC with almost any Intel, AMD, or Apple CPU. I’d focus more on the display than performance specs for that. The display on this laptop is not the best, but it is very good. For gaming this will perform well. My preference would be for a larger display, but if he/she may not care or if there’s a desktop monitor to connect to it may not matter. Depending on the size preference, this laptop should suit your teen well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.absolutely not as lightroom will utilize 20+ gigs of ram easy and so just because it can run it, that doesnt mean it will run it efficiently. It will eat up the 16g alotted from this machine and be starved for more! lightroom will use up all the cpu you can throw at it too so while the graphics card will be just fine, the ideal cpu would be a ryzen 9 or equivalent and make 32 gigs of ram the bare minimum to let the program stretch its legs! lightroom has some beefy requirements due to the fact that it utilizes parallel processing from graphics and properly optimized to use multiple threads from the cpu as well, and also most importantly this is the reason you upgrade to 32 gigs of ram in the first place!
