This Lenovo Yoga 7i 16, model number 82QG0000US, ships with a HDMI 2.0 port for video out to a compatible HDMI 2.0 monitor. First, be sure the cable you are using is HDMI 2.0 compatible, then be sure the monitor is HDMI 2.0 compatible. Try changing the resolution in your display settings to a lower setting. If the issue continues, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support for additional help at: 877-453-6686.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. So it did work right away on my 65-inch 4K TV. The answer must be getting the resolution set correctly because the problem I had was on a smaller TV that wasn't 4K. I changed the resolution on my Lenovo, trying lower ones, but could not get it to work properly on the smaller non-4 K TV. Not a big problem. But it still should have been easier. I'll try on a smaller TV here at home to see what resolution works. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to the one I had trouble getting the HDMI to work on as it was while out of town.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had to return two of last year's model Yoga's. One was due to a malfunctioning right click on the touchpad that I thankfully noticed before time ran out to return it. And the other due to short battery life. Although both ran through battery time rather quickly. Now, this new model Lenovo fails to show playback through the HDMI out. I followed all the instructions on how to enable HDMI playback but to no avail. Maybe the answer is to buy the ASUS - Zenbook Flip 2-in-1 15.6" OLED Touch-Screen when back in stock? Great reviews and what appears to be more laptop for the money. Both Dolby Vision and HDR10 are supported for sure. I really want to keep this Lenovo. I could live without Use HDR not being supported. But not being able to use HDMI out has been frustrating.
