How do you turn on keyboard lights null

Function key + spacebar. There are two levels of backlighting for the keyboard.

Hold the Function Key then the press the Spacebar it should have a few modes to cycle between.

Hello, Mike. To toggle keyboard backlighting, including adjusting the two-step brightness, press the Fn key and spacebar simultaneously. It can also be adjusted under the "Device" tab in the Lenovo Vantage app.
