How is this model different than the LV PUR131? null

It's not any different. I believe it's different model numbers for different vendors.

This model has smart capabilities that allows you to operate it through an app on your phone. The LV-PUR131 does not have this feature. We hope this helps!

The difference is this model features the ability to montior and control the air purifier using the app. The LV-PUR131 does not offer this feature. We have two of these in our home and they work great.
