Dinner plates come in different sizes, but even so, the standard average sizes for dinner plates is generally 10" for the ones that are used in restaurants, 9 " are average home plate sizes and 7" are salad/appetizer sizes. The turntable for the LG 1.1 Cu. Ft. Mid-Size Microwave, Model # LCS1114SB is 12" wide!...IFV

• The turntable is 12" across and since the turntable spins when cooking, your dinner plate would have to be 12" or less.

• YES. My plates are 10.5 inches and it has plenty of room. You could fit a 12 inch plate in this microwave.
