“After 3 months, microwave causing lights, etc. to flicker - what's wrong and will this damage other things? After 3 months with no problems, the lights started to flicker when the microwave runs. Sound like power going down and back up in microwave when happens. Assumed the outlet, that was getting old, needed changing and did so; but problem still happened. Tried moving it and using a different (second) kitchen outlet, and flickering is also happening here, too. A few days ago, I bought an outlet testing tool, tested both outlets, and they are perfectly fine according to this tool; so it must be the microwave. Does anyone know what this could be and is it dangerous? Will this flickering damage lights and other things in my house that are being affected (flickering lights, and appliances in which the power goes down and back up, etc.) damage the lights and other things flickering now? Since I have 9 months left on the parts/labor warranty, I will be contacting LG Service this week about this problem, and certainly don't look forward to being 'microwave-less" for however long a repair takes, though.”
