I have my microwave within a microwave cart that is enclosed completely in the back but is only covered halfway on both sides, venting being on left side of microwave. You might need to have some venting in case you cook or heat something for a long period of time on full power. Thank you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe the paperwork suggests 4 inches of space behind the back and to the side with the vent.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The LG - 1.1 Cu. Ft. Mid-Size Microwave - Stainless-Steel, Model # LCS1112ST is designed to be placed on a flat surface such as a kitchen countertop or a specially designed microwave oven cart at least 100cm (39.4 inches) from floor. Since free air flow around the oven is important, you will need to allow at least 4 inches of space at the top, sides, and back of the oven for proper ventilation and the air vents should be kept clear during cooking to prevent the unit from overheating which would cause a sensitive thermal safety device to automatically turn the oven off and keep it inoperable until it has cooled sufficiently. Unfortunately, we are not familiar with what the dimensions are for an "RV slot" to determine if this unit will fit. However, the outer W x H x D dimensions for the unit are: 19 7/8" x 11 7/16" x 14 9/16". The unit is designed to vent internally...^IFV
