QuestionHi, i have the LBN10551sw/01 and i am reading that you CAN reverse the doors. However, the part that holds the top refrigerator door to the left side, does NOT fit on the right side. It seems that another piece, mirror to the one i have is needed.

- Answer That is correct there should be a set of hinges that were included inside the fridge when you got it. The extra set of hinges is needed to reverse the way the door opens.

QuestionI know this is designed with reversible doors. My question is here. Do I need to buy separately other parts (such as hinges) to reverse the doors? Otherwise, would all parts coming with the refrigerator allow me to reverse the doors?

QuestionFollow up, spoke w LG and got a new part. The fridge DOES need a separate part for the TOP HINGE ONLY to switch the door swing. It DOES come w the unit (i lost mine and needed a new one) but there IS a left and right upper door hinge. Thank you!

- Answer No. It’s a textured dark grey material and not a metallic finish. Front is not magnetic but side is.

- Answer Hi Brett. Regrettably, we are unable to see any of the pictures that you attached to the inquiry from our side. The LG 10 cu. ft. Bottom Mount Refrigerator, Model # LBN10551PS was replaced by Model # LBNC10551V, but with the exception of one or two minor specifications, they are essentially the same. Unlike the owner's manual for Model # LBNC10551V which recommends that the door reversal is performed by a service technician, the owner's manual for Model # LBN10551PS has explicit instructions and illustrated diagrams in the 'Replacement of Door Opening Type on pages 15 - 16 that show the door reversal procedure...^IFV

QuestionLGAnswers, i just need to know if more parts are needed as ZackB mentioned. I have the manual and tool and i can remove the hinge but it doesnt fit on the right side. the manual shows a right handed hinge, which i dont have.

- Answer I bought just one. I do believe you could do that but do not advise it since you are loosing other functionalities ice & water dispenser and electric consumption from two units instead of one. It a cool idea though!!!

- Answer Great question! The difference is in the texture, not the color itself. Smooth White has a smooth finish. The White finish is a textured finish.
