• A:Answer Light bulb can be changed to brighten up inside of microwave but it's not recommended to exceed the manufacturers rating stated for each particular microwave. The exact bulb wattage needs to be replaced. Using a brighter and hotter bulb will likely damage something near it due to a hotter temperatures surrounding the bulb area. Be safe and use the the exact same or similar rated bulb dedicated to your model.

• A:Answer W are not clear if what you are referring to as the "timer" is the clock, but the microwave has a Kitchen Timer function that has a touch button on the control panel labeled 'Kitchen Timer' that you can set up to 99 minutes, 99 seconds by pressing the 'Kitchen Timer' button then entering your time in minutes and seconds. To turn the sound of the beeper On/Off, you would need to use the 'Custom Set' button that provides four modes that you can select, Sound On/Off, Clock ON/Off, Scroll Speed or LBS/KG.To turn the beep sound back on, touch the Stop/Clear button followed by the Custom Set button then 1 and then touch 1 again. You can find these instructions on page 15 of your owner's manual for the microwave...^IFV

Q: Questionmicro wave runs when bottom of door is touched .Our lg 2.0 cubic microwave was delivered by UPS yesterday. When any light upward pressure is put on the bottom of the door, the microwave starts operating. One time today, it started running when I just closed the door. Is there something we can do to fix this or do we just need to exchange the oven? It heats the food really well but the fact that it starts on its own is unsettling.
