- Answer The glass is neither black nor white really, it is a darkened glass which will still allow you to see inside when the interior lights up.

- Answer The Cooktop/Countertop Lights are located about midway between the front and the back, each towards the edges of the bottom of the microwave. You'll have plenty of light on your cooktop.

- Answer The LMHM2017ST has the controls on the bottom, the LMH2016ST has the controls on the right, besides that, the two are very similar in their features. The LMH2016ST has 5-stars in review ratings on LG.com (139 reviews).

QuestionInside Ceiling LMH2016STOn the right inside ceiling of the MW there is a cover that says "Don't Remove This Cover." On the left there are sets of holes where it appears that something should have been snapped in. Can anyone confirm for me if your LMH2016ST MW has the same appearance....like something is missing (inside left ceiling)? You help is much appreciated.

QuestionCan someone reconfirm -- Does this vent externally?

- Answer Yes, it does, but you have to turn the fan before installing. The installer didn't do this, and it wasn't pulling air from below, because it was venting throught the charcoal filter and coming out the front of the microwave. He had to take it out, turn the fan, and then completely reinstall it. We have an outside vent, and now it works well.

- Answer Not sure of the exact dimensions, but they are in the specs on Best Buy Website. We have it above a Chambers cooktop, and it looks good. It replaced an old, dated Chambers hood.

- Answer Hello, the Exterior Dimensions are (WxHxD) 29 7/8" x 17 3/4" x 15 7/8" Since you only have 30.5" between your cooking surface and your cabinets, it seems that you don't have enough space for an Over-the-Range Microwave. The minimum distance between cook top and cabinet or microwave should be 30". - Answer 'Digital' usually means solid state (no moving parts). This is a sub set of electronic controls.

- Answer Because I have bought three and returned all, all have had damage or poor craftsmenship in the assembly. Looks good and quite but can't get a good one.
