QuestionSo, this version has an Energy Saving feature that turns off the clock. It is not lit up unless you are using it, correct? If what I see is right, there is no way to disable this feature and allow the clock to stay on at all time, right?

- Answer The energy saving button turns on when you press it and off when you want to microwave something. Operates just as the vent feature or lights feature work. When you want to turn it on push button, when you want it off, press it again.

- Answer One answer to my question regarding the interior states that the interior of this microwave is white. I tried to cancel the order after receiving the response, but could not. This microwave arrived today, and the interior is gray which is the Easy Clean so I am keeping the microwave. The interior of this microwave is gray.

QuestionPlease advise as to the mounting system of (LG) over the range microwaves.Same question as prior question. How does the LG Manufacturer of over the range microwave ovens mount? From the top as many GE ovens mount, or on the wall? Or is there a dual mounting system that can be used either top or wall.

- Answer DCH, That is a question you will need to contact Best Buy's Geek Squad about and they may have to do a site survey or consultation to determine how the unit can be mounted. They will need to determine if you wall can support the weight of the LMV2031SW Over-the-Range Microwave, they need to know what type of walls you have so the right tools can be used, they will need to determine if you have the requisite height from the cooking surface of your oven to install this unit and they will need to confirm that you have the right power source which they will not install for you and if that needs to be done, it will have to be done prior to the installation or mounting of the unit. You probably will need to consult a qualified Electrician for that. There is a lot that goes into mounting the unit, like finding the studs in the wall to mount the unit and to make sure that they are not drilling into any existing power lines or water pipes within the wall or a gas line...IFV

- Answer Hey, Vincent! To toggle the time change on your microwave, please open the microwave oven door and press the + button repeatedly to toggle between the 24-hour and 12-hour clock mode. Press Enter to set the clock mode, to set the time of day, press + or – to select the desired hour. QuestionWhen I leave the microwave oven light on on the outside the inside of my microwave is so hot. I can barely touch it. Even the glass gets super hot. This doesn’t seem normal to me.

- Answer Hi, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ENOUGH SPACE AND SUPPORT. – Mount the oven against a flat, vertical wall, so it is supported by the wall. The wall should be constructed of minimum 2" x 4" wood studding and 3/8" thick drywall or plaster/lath. Locate the oven away from strong draft areas, such as windows, doors, and strong heating vents. QuestionWhat is minimum cabinet depth for mounting this microwave? My Cabinets are only 11" deep, so now the whirlpool microwave cant be mounted

- Answer My cabinets are also 11" deep (which used to be standard depth for upper cabinets, now 12") and I have the LG microwave and it's fine. Check out my pictures. Our last house was a new build and the microwave was installed exactly the same way with a little sticking out, so it's fine. They don't have to match up evenly.

- Answer Same this here although it stopped working a year after purchase. LG sent a third party repair company (which took several weeks) and they completely replaced all the wiring. Luckily, it was within the warranty. Now it just quit working again. I’m thinking this was a $400 mistake. We bought an LG fridge and dishwasher at the same time. The fridge quit working last year, took 3 months for them to come fix it. The dishwasher is now shorting out. We are done with LG.
