UPDATE: The sub was too close to my router, I moved it to near my couch, about eight feet from the sound bar and router, have had zero problems. Turns out the signal from the router interferes with the signal between the sound bar and sub.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Wow I've been having the same issues that everyone else has and last night finally got the right answer and it was through customer service chat line how to fix the problem first turn your Soundbar off then unplug your Soundbar from the wall leaving the subwoofer still connected then press the reset button on the subwoofer and hold in for 10 seconds release green light will be flashing wait 30 seconds then turn Soundbar back on wait for connection and Wallah you should have no more problems it worked for me good luck
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are now THOUSANDS of comments on line about the LG subwoofers cutting out. I just purchased an LG OLED C9 TV and SL8YG sound bar with woofer. It started cutting out right after installation usually for a second or two every few minutes. All my WIFI equipment is at least 20' from the speaker system except for the DISH set top box which receives WIFI and oh by the way so does the TV and the Sound Bar. You can actually use WIFI as a standard communication method between the two. If you read the rules on WIFI and other radio and electronic systems each component must be properly designed to not interfere with another. I have contacted the support people at the Magnolia-Best Buy store and they said they are not aware of the problem and I should return it. I also called LG support but could not communicate adequately with any of the individuals I spoke to due to various barriers. I have tried at least a dozen diagnostics with no luck. The obvious one is to move the woofer closer to the sound bar and further from the surrounding infrastructure such as microwave ovens cell phones, WIFI, competing Blue Tooth etc. We live on a farm so I decided to move the sound bar away from the house and all other electronics about 200 feet and plugged it in near our barn which has power for lights only. I played music through the SB using blue tooth from my cell phone about 30' away. Same problem. I doubt I have a bad unit due to all the other complaints on line. So LG, if you would like to contact me, I purchased the unit at Magnolia-Best Buy store #0212 on 9/21/19 invoice printed at 17:02. Thanks for listening.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the same issue. Started the moment i set it up. Moved it a little over 8 feet from internet modem and wifi router as recommended on EVERY website I ran across regarding same issue. Well, issue persists. Heck, even bluetooth connection with my phone lasts all but 2 seconds.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have had the EXACT same issues. I thought it was the router, I moved the subwoofer approximately 3.5” and I still have the exact same issues. Also, has anyone had any issues with the bass sound I the subwoofer not sound that loud?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If u wrap aluminum foil around the speaker side of the modem or wifi router it will block the wifi signal and allow u to keep ur speaker under ur tv. Just did it to my system bc of cut offs and it has fixed the in and out problem. Now I have e a steady bass coming from the subwoofer... Geaux Tigers!!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Please read this if you are having problems with wireless speakers. I purchased my def tech sound bar/sub approximately 5 years ago and had little trouble with it at my old house. We moved and I got new toys. During this process my new router setup had the channel selected as auto. I have literally for the last 2 years have been dealing with in and out audio from my subwoofer. I feel as though this issue is 100000% from my silliness from realizing that using the router on auto was to blame. Now I changed the channels to 11 and 161 and since then I have had 0, yes I said 0, cutting out from my subwoofer. Please change your channels for your router prior to coming on here complaining about your equipment not working. Trust me I did that and now I feel so stupid. Hope this helps and if not feel free to say how I'm an idiot and didn't solve your issue. Thanks.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just want to share what solved this problem for me. I have no option to put the soundbar and subwoofer far away enough to avoid any interference. I've recently replaced my router and I started noticing the disconnection issue. After turning off MU-MIMO (or OFDM) in my router settings, the subwoofer disconnection issue has stopped. This has worked for me and I hope it helps others, too.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.SAMSUNG YOU SHOULD ADD THIS TO YOUR MANUALS! I have the q850t model. And when I had a 2.4 Hertz internet connection, my subwoofer was constantly disconnecting and reconnecting. After learning that the Bluetooth and the 2.4 Hertz internet share the same frequency. I realized it was the router being to close to the sound system. DON'T HAVE YOUR ROUTER NEXT TO YOUR BT DEVICES. they interfere with one another. They "suggest" about 5 ft. Away. Or if you have a dual band wifi and don't use your 2.4 Hertz and only use your 5 Hertz. Disable the 2.4 hertz for zero interference.
