Yes, it is. I just purchased a 50-inch Insignia Fire TV and the soundbar works perfectly with it. A cool part about it, in my opinion, you don't have to use the volume control on your TV. Just connect the soundbar, turn the TV volume down to zero, and adjust your soundbar volume. It extends the life of your TV speakers in the long run; Plus, the soundbar is conveniently loud, so you don't have to turn it all the way up to get the desirable sound quality you want.

We understand you're asking whether the LG S40T 2.1 Channel Sound Bar is compatible with an Insignia TV. Yes, the LG S40T sound bar should be compatible with your Insignia TV. The sound bar offers several connection options that are widely supported by most TVs, including: Optical Input – If your Insignia TV has an optical audio output, you can easily connect it to the sound bar using the included optical cable. HDMI ARC – If your Insignia TV supports HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel), you can use an HDMI cable to connect the TV to the sound bar. Make sure your TV’s HDMI port supports ARC (usually labeled as HDMI 1 or HDMI ARC). Bluetooth – You can also pair the sound bar with your Insignia TV wirelessly via Bluetooth if your TV has Bluetooth capability. Additionally, the LG S40T supports LG TV Sound Sync via Bluetooth and optical, which might be beneficial if you’re using an LG TV, but it’s also a versatile option for other brands like Insignia. https://www.lg.com/us/sound-bars/lg-s40t-sound-bar#pdp_specs If you need help with the setup or have any other questions, feel free to send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport, and we’ll be happy to assist you further!
