QuestionHow efficient is the fan? Where are the vents located ? When I sear on med high, on my gas stove , I end up with grease on my cabinets & on my 13 ft ceiling. I have a 400cfm fan now and its not efficient? Anyone having problems with this microwave ?

- Answer Various fan speeds as well as lighting speeds. My last microwave set off the smoke alarms when I was frying and our security company responded. I was just frying bacon. No fire, no alarm. Two vents situated middle back left and middle back right. I like the microwave.

QuestionWe currently have a LMH2916St installed, and it died ! Will a LMDH2237St fit into the same mounting bracket as the LMH2016ST ?

QuestionHello, can you cook in the microwave and use the timer at the same time? Just got a Samsung that doesn’t allow this and I am shocked that this is a feature that can’t be changed on any microwave.

QuestionCan this Microwave be used in a built in cabinetry space or does it to be over the range?

- Answer Mount the oven against a flat, vertical wall, so it is supported by the wall. The wall should be constructed of minimum 2" x 4" wood studding and 3/8" thick drywall or plaster/lath. Do not mount the microwave oven to an island or peninsula cabinet. Be sure the upper cabinet and rear wall structures can support 150 lbs., plus the weight of any items you place inside the oven or upper cabinet. ^Daphane

QuestionMy microwave came with a chip of paint missing on the extendavent that wasn’t noticed until it was installed. Can just the extendavent piece be replaced? I called LG and they told me that part would have to come from Best Buy.

Our customer service probably referred you back to Best Buy because that chip in the extendavent is considered cosmetic damage which is not covered under the product's warranty. QuestionThe cabinet above where the microwave will be mounted is only 12 inches deep. Can we successfully install this microwave.

QuestionThe specs say that this comes with a night light. Which to me means it can be programmed to come on at a specific time. I can’t find anything about this in the instruction manual. Anyone have any insights?
