QuestionI am comparing this unit with LG model that holds 4.3 cu ft (WM3997HWA)...I notice for larger unit many owners say that if you wash a full load, then you have to dry 1/2 the full load at a time. Is this also true for this smaller 2.3 cu ft unit too?

- Answer It's helpful to dry half at a time. You get less wrinkles and it's an easier process if you use "low" on the dryer settings because then you don't have to wait for the full Cool Down period.

QuestionCan this unit be installed in a RV? Is it 110/120v ? Is it ventless?

- Answer The LG - 2.3 cu.ft. 14-Cycle Front-Loading Compact Washer and 7-Cycle Dryer Combo with Steam, Model # WM3488HS is designed for residential use only and must be plugged into its' own dedicated standard, grounded, 3-prong outlet rated at 120V, protected by a 15 Amp time delay fuse or 15 Amp. circuit breaker. The power outlet must be within 60 inches of either side of the washer. The drain hose should be properly secured with the supplied elbow bracket. The Hot and Cold inlet hoses have 3/4" connectors on them. The LG - 2.3 cu.ft. 14-Cycle Front-Loading Compact Washer and 7-Cycle Dryer Combo with Steam, Model # WM3488HS and all other LG Washer/Dryer Combo units are designed as ventless units and cannot be vented. ^CP

- Answer The hot and cold water inlet hoses that come as included accessories with this LG - 2.3 Cu. Ft. 14-Cycle Compact Front-Loading Washer and Dryer Combo - Silver, Model # WM3488HS have a 3/4" x 3/4" hose thread with a 1/2" inner diameter female connector on them. Depending on what type of connectors you have on your sink and what size they are, you may or may not need adapters. The washer has to be plugged into its own individual grounded outlet rated at 120 VAC, 60Hz (commonly referred to as a "standard outlet" or "110 V household outlet") The outlet must be within 60 inches on either side of the washer...^IFV

QuestionOne of the comments said you have to have an extra 4" added onto the depth to make room for the hoses, is that true?

- Answer The recommended clearance spacing for the sides of the LG 2.3 cu. ft. High Efficiency All-in-one Front Load Washer & Dryer in Stainless Steel, Model # WM3488HS is 1 inch. The reason for the spacing requirement is to ensure that the unit has a natural airflow around it. Keep in mind that this unit is a ventless dryer as well as being a washer and if confined in too narrow a space, that is humid may produce mildew or musty smells and it also prevents transference of noise to the walls. The unit's cabinet has a width of 24" so it will fit into a 25" opening. You do not have to worry about duct venting since the machine is ventless and doesn't require any ductwork, however, you do need to ensure enough space in the rear for waterline clearances and 4 inches should suffice but you can adjust that if you find your water lines do not require that much clearance. ^CP

- Answer It dose t go buy gallons what it does it goes by weight of clothes which is very good . It just knows how much to use in different ciycles it’s a new way of washing clothes which is very good in a lot of different ways. You have to learn the proper way of using it .its new tech and at first I really didn’t under stand the way it washed but now I do love the machine I think you would too once you understand the way to wash. I have to say it dose take longer to wash and dry your clothes so keep that in mind when you use it.

All-in-one Front Load Washer and Electric Ventless Dryer in White, Model # WM3488HW is equipped with a 3-prong plug that has to be plugged into a 120 VAC, 60 Hertz, grounded outlet which is the standard outlet used in most households and apartment buildings in the U.S. (i.e. the one commonly referred to as a 110V, 115V or 117V outlet- those all refer to the same voltage as 120V). It comes with fill hoses as well. ^CP
