Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.These refrigerators make a high-pitched, whining sound when the compressor is running. It is noticeable and can be heard in nearby rooms. The technician has been out twice and has told me it’s just the sound that modern efficient compressors make. we’re stuck with it. Not sure, but I expect all modern refrigerators. Make a high-pitched sound to varying degrees.
