We’ve had our LG French Door Refrigerator for about 6 weeks now and we can tell you that it took quite a while before it started to consistently produce fully round and totally clear Craft Ice. Now it produces about 3 Craft Ice Balls a day and about 90% of them are round and clear (as clear as an ice cube can be) . Once in a while you’ll get an Odd Ball (Pun intended) where there is a small piece of ice missing from the ball. All in all, the ice maker works pretty good. We enjoy it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.ive had occasional issues with craft ice maker. So this last time I got ice... there was a frozen sheet of ice in the bin with ice balls.. I cleaned that out and hasn’t made ice since. so today I reached underneath the ice maker and pressed the “test” button. I activated and tilt down to remove 3 ice balls. They were lodged in and stuck. I ran the test 5 times.... as fresh water poured over the ice.... I was finally able to dislodge them. I hope this works. Maybe the freezer wasn’t set cold enough or a door was left open. Will see in a day or so. Got pictures but not sure how to post them
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same thing happen. Looking at it the ice was in the molds, the three fused together. So I ran the test and using a flashlight could see the ice. Run the test several times. I think i ran it 5 or 6 times, you may need to do it more. Be careful as it will run water trying to fill up the molds and it will pour over them due to the ice being in there. put a container, or a bowl under to catch the water. After several times of that the water will thaw the ice enough to loosen it from the molds and it will get pushed out, then i used a wooden spoon to pry the 3 sphere hunk of ice from the molds. Then the water filled up the molds correctly. We'll see how long that lasts.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. On my fridge (had it for two weeks),you can set the lower ice maker to make 6 a day. The control is on the lower ice container. Just switch to 6 instead of 3.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are two settings for the ice, one freezes twice as fast as the other. In other words, 6 craft ice cubes a day vs 3 a day. If you opt for the faster freezing option your ice will be cloudy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Never gets completely clear. at least not before the ice maker quits altogether
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The clarity of the ice is heavily dependent upon the quality of the water. Since adding a reverse osmosis system, the ice is much clearer. Also, you can increase the craft ice to make 6 balls each day by changing the settings on the phone app. It's very easy to do.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have followed the recommendations of flushing the waterline after the first batch and disposing of that batch, I would then call for service. The ice cubes should be clear.
