QuestionLooking to buy the LG model fridges, but they have to have one of the smallest ice bins I have seen in all the fridges we looked at. We go through ice everyday. Anyone have issues with the ice maker not keeping up with normal family use?

- Answer The icemaker makes cubes just as fast as the old one but the collector tray is smaller. The tradeoff is that you pick up a huge amount of space in the freezer so it is definitively worth it. You can periodically dump the collector into the supplied tray in the freezer. So for example you could dump the collector before you go to work in the morning and then again when you get home from work. A little bit of "labor" is a well worth the extra room you get in the fridge and the freezer.

QuestionDoes the height include rollers? This one would be cutting it close for our space. Does the height measured include rollers?

- Answer I just measured mine from the floor and it is 69.75” to the top of the door hinges on rhe front. The door hinges go back 8” from the front and the rest of the fridge has a height of 68.25. Hope this helps. This fridge has been a great performer for me over the last three months since I bought.

- Answer Yes! On the front and the sides. You can stick magnets to it you just need to make sure you do not scratch the fridge when sliding them across.

- Answer Model LRFXS2503S will not allow for a secondary icemaker to be installed in the freezer. There is only an icemaker in the left fridge door/dispenser. The wiring diagram only shows one icemaker as well and no wiring to hook up a 2nd icemaker. The information listed on Best Buy is incorrect and has been escalated for correction. - Answer The filters for model LRFXS2503S are located in the rear of the top shelf. The water filter is in the left corner and the air filter is on the back wall. QuestionHow much clearance to allow the freezer compartment to open? Our fridge faces the side of cabinets and countertop. We have a side by side now, this isn't a problem.

QuestionI'm trying to see if the door-open alarm can be deactivated while everything else remains on in the fridge. The Sabbath function seems to turn everything off (alarm, lights, etc.). I want everything else on, just the door alarm off. Is this not possible?

QuestionWhat is the width with the doors open? We only have 33 inches to work with. Doors need to open flush with the sides of the fridge.

- Answer The doors do not open flush. The hinges each need about an inch for the doors to be able to open. My fridge in in a space about 34” wide, but It’s positioned next to a doorframe which gives the door plenty of room to swing open. Otherwise, I don’t think I’d be able to use it.

- Answer They all do, bad engineering, class action lawsuit, and 5000 active claims at BBB, call them. It doesn't matter how pretty it is or what price, when it does break down quickly. Customer service is no help and they just say they don't have anyone to service it, yet all this time you have no refrigerator

- Answer Shaun, I just measured my fridge. The height is exactly 68.5” for the body without the hinges. The full depth is 32”. The hinge area is 8.25-8.5” of the depth. That portion of the fridge front is just a smidge over 69.75” high. Hope this helps.

- Answer Oh yes! In fact two of them. On the right side there's a full depth milk shelf. The left side is more shallow and the ice maker is lodged along the front so as to streamline the available space.

QuestionI was told by the installers that in addition to the ice maker on the door, ice would also be made automatically in the freezer until the ice bucket/tray is full. It has been over 24 hours and no ice has been produced in the freezer.

- Answer No. The ice is on the top part of the refrigerator which drops to the dispenser on the door. To save more than the small amount reserved in the door, you have to take the ice from the top bin to put into the freezer section in the designated bin. Not a huge problem except I forget to do this and do t have a reserve of ice. If you open the left door often, be careful to. Or leave the door open too long because the top ice container melts a bit and the ice bin gets blocked. Throw away that container and it just starts again.
