The letters OE on the console indicate that the unit has a problem draining.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is a troubleshooting error message for "not draining". You are supposed to check for debris in the filter and hit "cancel" to get the water to drain out of the tub. I want to caution you that I had this error code for about a month and my husband couldn't get it to clear and he is very handy. I kept restarting the washer and dealing with it then I started getting the HE code, heating error. After 2 more wash cycles of clearing the error like the troubleshooting guide recommended, my dishwasher completely stopped working and I had to call for repair for a $70 service call. Bottom line, the motherboard went out and the wires on the harness had started burning. We have no electrical problems in the wall. It is a nightmare now dealing with LG to replace the board which is under warranty for 5yrs. My washer is 2 yrs old. I should have spent the $70 upfront for the repairman to check it out before continuing to run the unit and trying to clear the repetitive error per the LG guide. Get a repairman right away if you can't clear the error yourself and it doesn't return after the next couple of wash cycles so the unit doesn't overheat and it costs you almost the same as replacing the unit. I don't think LG will honor the warranty part by the run around they are giving me and the repair company I selected, All American Appliance Inc in Springfield who has been excellent working with me on this problem.
