QuestionDescription says it’s compatible with Windows. Is it Mac compatible ? Can’t see why it wouldn’t be. But since they don’t specify it, I would rather confirm it is before ordering

- Answer Yes it will work with a Mac. If you have an older Mac with an hdmi output, you won’t need anything. If your Mac only has usb-c outputs, you would need the matching dongle

QuestionBest buy shows this monitor as having 2 HDMI inputs, but the LG webpage for model number 24ML44B-B states it has only 1 HDMI and also shows only 1 in their pictures. Can someone clarify if this monitor has 1 or 2 HDMI inputs?

QuestionThe box came with a power cord that connects to the wall outlet and an HDMI cord. Both are plugged in but the monitor won't turn on. Is there anything else needed to get the monitor to turn on? Trying to determine if this is faulty.

- Answer One make sure the outlet has power. Two there is a little button on the bottom of the screen press it and make sure you are on the right input. I had to change mine when I got it because it was defaulted to hdmi 2

- Answer The monitor I received came with a six foot HDMI cable. Despite the all the claims you see for expensive cables, all HDMI cables of the same length perform exactly the same. Buying a more expensive cable will buy you no better performance. All HDMI cables are built to the exact same specifications. There is no such thing as a cable rated for 60 Hz vs. one rated for 75 Hz. I do not know if the display is only lit from one side. I can see no difference in brightness across the screen.

- Answer I don't have an xbox. the monitor has an HDMI and vga input, if the Xbox has a vga or HDMI output, it should work.

If your Kanto Dual Arm Mount is also VESA compliant and it supports the VESA Wall Mount Interface Pattern that is supported on the monitor, you can mount the monitor on it. The monitor also has a width of 21.9" and a height of 13.0" so depending on whther your mount is a vertical or horizontal dual arm mount, you can check to see if it will accommodate the width or height for the monitor if you intend two fo the same monitors...^IFV

QuestionI just purchased this monitor. The screen seems kind of wobbly on the stand and tilts forward. How can this be fixed, or is this how it is designed to stand?

- Answer Once you've fastened the rear plate securely with both Phillips head screws and added the stand, the monitor will appear to tilt forward when placed on a flat surface. Place one hand at the top and the other hand at the bottom of the monitor, and it can be tilted between 5 and 20 degrees forward so it can be seen properly.

- Answer I connected my LG Monitor to my HP laptop via a display port. I also can choose HDMI connection. I can use both monitors or just the LG by itself. Ensure that your graphics card can handle two monitors. My mouse works fine on both; and I have attached a keyboard. If you want to use your monitor and laptop as two separate screens, make sure in system settings, display, multiple displays, select "Extend these settings."

QuestionHow do you adjust the viewing angle on this monitor. Assembled according to directions it simply sits upright. The descriptions say it can be viewed by multiple angles, but I don't see where you can do it.

- Answer Hello - The description is referring to the fact that the monitor shows accurate color and lighting when viewed from other angles than straight ahead - Most older/TN displays show about a 45-50 degree angle cone of accurate color (approximately 20-25 degrees above, below, and to the left or right of facing the screen at-center. These newer IPS panels can show almost 180 degrees of accurate color and lighting from any viewing angle - Think about your TV: When you sit directly ahead of it and when you sit to one side or the other of it, the picture looks largely the same - Those are IPS panels - The older TN panels are cheaper (usually) and are features on budget laptops and budget monitors - But IPS is taking hold as the standard for its superior angle viewability... This doesn't mean the monitor supports any other mounted angles, just that its angles to be viewed at are greatly improved over cheaper monitors, and most in its price range.

- Answer If your MacBook is at all similar to my MacBook Pro (2017), it should work just fine. My MB Pro has 4 Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports and I have the following peripherals connected to them: 2 LG 24" monitors 1 label printer 1 USB-C to USB 2.0 multiport "dongle" 1 USB 2.0 transceiver (for external keyboard and mouse) 1 external hard drive For one of the monitors, I am using a multiport adaptor that plugs in to BOTH of the Thunderbolt ports on the left side of the MB Pro. This adapter provides 1 Thunderbolt port, 1 HDMI port, 3 USB 2.0 port, 1 ethernet port, and a couple of memory card readers. The monitor connects directly to the HDMI port using a standard HDMI cable. For the other monitor, I am using a Thunderbolt to HDMI adapter cable, so it connects to one of the available Thunderbolt ports on the right side of the MB Pro. Take Away: You should be able to use the LG monitor with no problems. How you connect it (i.e. what adapters you will need) depends on what ports are available on you MacBook
