Download the Onscreen Control and monitor driver from the CD that came with the box. Either that or go directly to the LG website, enter your monitor model name and digitally download the Onscreen Control and driver from there. Without them, the resolution for the monitor was 1440p and I couldn't change it, but after downloading it, it changed to 1080p. Using a laptop, the resolution won't adjust correctly if you "Duplicate these displays", so make sure to "Extend" or "Display only",

If you want to change the resolution that is displayed on the monitor, you will need to go into the control center for your graphics card to output your desired resolution. Matching the monitor's native resolution is going to give you the sharpest and clearest images. Resolutions higher than the native resolution will make things look much smaller on the screen...^IFV
