• The silverware basket ships installed at the back of the bottom rack. For best performance, install it along the right side as shown in the Interior Parts section. ^Daphane

• The silverware basket can only fit on the bottom rack. Alternatively, you can use the top shelf to arrange utensils.

• The silverware shelf is a slide out shelf that is about 2 inches wide and is above the typical upper shelf. It also has rack on the lower shelf which I haven't used at this point and may never use. I may just remove it.

• I don't see any way the silverware tray could be relocated to the door, but there is that 3rd rack on top in the dishwasher where silverware can be placed instead of on the silverware rack. I have seen pictures of that. Hope it helps.
