Ultra Large Capacity Side-By-Side Refrigerator, Model # LSXS26326S every 6 months or when the water filter indicator turns on. Other indications for when to change it will be when the water dispenser output decreases, or when the ice cubes are smaller than normal...^IFV

Questionmy last ge fridge wouldnt stay cold, does this fridge get reallly cold?i like my drinks and food in fridge coooooold, will this fridge get cold on low settings? 30 degrees and colder? thanks in advance!

- Answer Lowest fridge setting is 33 degrees F, but with unit set at 33 some of my drinks/food is starting to freeze up/slush so it is cold!

QuestionOn one of the reviews I read said the power cord comes out the top of refrigerator. Is that true or is it out of the unit like most?

- Answer LG Answers got this one wrong. For this particular model, the power cord comes out the top of the refrigerator. That makes it challenging to reach outlets that are near the floor, and to fit the refrigerator into cabinetry.

QuestionMy ice maker stopped dispensing ice. What should I do to get it working again

- Answer The only thing you can do is contact LG and ask them to send you a tech out for repair. i owned this unite for 1.5 year now and the ice maker has stopped dispensing ice for 6 times. LG's customer service is pretty good but not this unit.

- Answer When you replace the water filter in the G 6.2 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator with Thru-the-Door Ice and Water - Stainless Steel, Model # LSXS26326S, when it is rotated up into position and the cover is closed, the cover will click when closed correctly. The water filter has tabs on it and with the water filter tabs in a horizontal position, you would need to push it into the manifold until it stops. Installing the water filter in correctly and properly is the only way to ensure that it works. If it is not installed correctly, the refrigerator will not detect it and the water filter indicator will come on as it does when the water filter needs replacing...^IFV

- Answer HI Anthony. We regret to read that the ice maker in the 26.2 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator with Thru-the-Door Ice and Water, Model # LSXS26326S stopped producing ice after emptying the ice. Check to make sure that you do not have any clumped ice in the ice chute or check to make sure that the power switch on the ice maker was inadvertently set to off...^IFV

Question@LGAnswers, that is not what I'm asking. I am not asking how Energy Star certification works. I'm asking if this unit is really Energy Star certified. Best Buy is claiming that it is, despite any confirmation from other sources.

QuestionPurchased this fridge in April; we just renovated kitchen and it has been connected to water line in just the last few weeks. Freezer is set to -2. In that time, we've yet to get ice. Suggestions on why this might be? As well as next steps?

- Answer 1. Make sure you have turned the water faucet ON, that feeds the refrig. Water line. 2. Press down water dispenser tab on front panel. Water would come out. 3. If water dispenses, then press the control panel to "TURN ON" the Ice Maker. 4. Control panel must be in "UNLOCKED" condition.
