A:Answer I have owned this LG for 1 year and 9 months. The Icemaker has been replaced now 4 times in 6 weeks and continues to fail. When it works, it works great. I have no idea why they cannot fix it. Each attempted repair leads to it getting worse. I will be seeking a replacement refrigerator at this point. I have done all diagnostics (LG has great support documents and help videos). It is a little complex to diagnose the problem, but hey I was with NASA. Regardless, I am going into Best Buy and getting a new frig at this point as there is no solution. The interesting part is that each part LG has sent as a replacement icemaker has had a different connector on it, meaning they do not seem to know what icemaker is in this model. The rest of the unit is great. The door design has issues, and some of the set up like the water dispenser are ergonomic nightmares, but it is fantastic otherwise.
