Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Same with our new LG French Door Refrigerator/2 Drawer freezer. 1) make sure refrigerator front leveling feet are adjusted to level refrigerator. See installation guide, Leveling/Alignment. If drawers are still closing on their own, won't stay open to access freezer drawer: 2) Check your floor level. Our floor was out of level, lower in the back of the refrigerator. There are no leveling feet in the back. 3) We added 3 layers of Ram Board, construction, painting floor protecter, held down on floor with painter's blue paper tape, so heavy paper will not slip, when rolling refrigerator over the paper. Rolled refrigerator over the Ram Board... The paper levels raised up the back of the refrigerator enough, so the freezer drawers will now stay open, when fully extended to access the freezer drawers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If it is the top drawer it could be the ice tray getting stuck on the ice making mechanism. I had a issue with the top freezer drawer doing the same thing but once I realized it was the ice maker and the ice cube tray was in the wrong way it fixed the problem. Hope this helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My bottom freezer drawer will stay open. It's pretty heavily loaded with food and that may be the reason. The top freezer drawer slowly closes when I let go of it. I guess it's just the design but it doesn't bother me. I hope this helps.
