Why in the world are the refrigerator manufactures making refrigerators without magnetic front doors? I think if people stopped buying them they would start making the magnetic again. It is an American tradition to put magnets and pictures and drawings on the front of your refrigerator in the refrigerator manufactures need to start making the fronts magnetic again. I will only be buying a magnetic front refrigerator and there aren't that many options out there only whirlpool and Samsung currently make the magnetic fronts that I am aware of you have to shop with the magnet to be sure
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The doors are made out of a cheap 300-series (non-magnetic) stainless. They could have used 400-series stainless (which IS magnetic,) but that would cost more.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have this fridge in my home now, and we love it. ...however, magnets Do Not stick to the front of it. The sides can still be decorated with the artwork and achievements of our kids, but the front remains clear of clutter. I'm a fan of this design, but my wife likes the magnets/art on the front. I'll be making a framed sheet metal area to hang what would normally be prominently displayed on the front of a Traditional refrigerator.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you choose a Stainless Steel refrigerator, then your magnets will not work. This is due to the fact that 300 series stainless is used. Contrary to one misinformed commentator, they should have used 400 series rather than 300 series, because LG was cheap. Well, 400 series stainless steels generally contain chromium and manganese and are magnetic. While 400 series still exhibits the corrosion resistance that is typical of stainless steel in general, they are less corrosion-resistant than the 300 series(which has nikel), and therefore typically cost less. By the way, we can't sick a magnet on our Sub-Zero, which isn't a cheap refrigerator. If holding magnets is a priority, get a non-stainless unit. Just my 2 cents.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Front doors are not magnetic, but sides are if you have one exposed

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The 2 main doors are magnetic... the smaller, outer door, is more of a latch and hook..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Its Stainless Steel! Stainless is non-magnetic! No boycott needed, just dont buy Stainless Steel...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Only the 2 main doors are magnetic. The Door-in-Door requires a push (you'll hear a click) to lock.
